Fun in the Sun

I have returned from sunny Florida; where it really wasn't much hotter than the Ottawa weather I left behind. MP and I went for my father's 60th birthday. He was very surprised to see me. We had a nice visit with Dad and then we rented a car and drove from Fort Lauderdale to Key West.



The drive was great. It has been years since I've driven in a convertible. Unfortunately, I did get a wee sunburn...on my shoulders. Wearing a bra has been hell since.

Key West was interesting. A very artsy community. We visited Hemingway's house. That was neat and it inspired me to get one of his books. I'm ashamed to say but I don't think I've ever read anything by Hemingway.



Also very neat...there are roosters all over the place.
